A desire has a way of becoming a dream and translating that dream into reality gives one an innate sense of happiness and achievement. We, being Colombo International Airport Hotels Pvt Ltd (CIAH) have the desire of elevating its success as an iconic development in Sri Lanka.

As the mother company, ROWELMARK Pvt Ltd which is a well-established investment facilitator with strong ties to Japan, is the backbone of CIAH. Partnering with Airport Aviation Services Lanka Limited, we intend to deliver the Colombo International Airport Hotel which will be the first transit hotel in the premises for the International Airport.

We are focused on leisure tourism, adventure tourism, medical tourism, business hospitality and real estate development. Becoming a global brand is our long-term plan for the purpose of continual growth and value creation for its stakeholders. Whilst achieving our financial goals, high standard services we intend to maintain nature friendly and a community focused approach contributing to the ongoing development of tourism industry.

About Sri Lanka and Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA)

Sri Lanka, the most exotic and sought-after island on the Indian Ocean with a diverse history and a welcoming culture which is adored by many globally. Sri Lanka is an Island Nation which has an array of natural resources, unending landscapes and natural beauties over 65,610 km² and a golden boarder of diving pristine beaches.

Tourism is one of the Top Five income earners to Sri Lanka with an average of 10.9 MN per annum (2019) use the facilities of Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) which is beyond its operational capacity.

This is in view at the backdrop and with an ambitious plan, a 2nd state of the art terminal is under construction as a part of a Japanese collaboration which will increase the capacity significantly.

A vision to expand incoming business and leisure capacity as well as offering a convenient hub connecting east and west.

About Colombo International Airport Hotels (CIAH)

Colombo International Airport Hotels Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in view of initiating a much-needed facility for travelers at present and for the future in partnership with the Airport and Aviation Services of Sri Lanka Limited.

This proposed mega mix development project is situated adjoining the Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo airport, Sri Lanka) and the Katunayake Export Processing Zone (dedicated manufacturing facility with special operational concessions) in a 3-acre land granting a unique attribute not found near any other hotel elsewhere in Sri Lanka. The total project will consist of a hotel and other recreation facilities within the same land. Additionally, the project is also located close proximity to the Miracle Dome which is a 5,000 seat conference facility in the vicinity.

The proposed hotel development will consist 7+ floors and 100+ rooms in various categories. The 4-star rated hotel will offer its guests restaurants, a bar, swimming pool, gym, Spa, a business center, Crew Lounge and a MICE Center. Hotel once opened, is expected to cater the requirements of incoming and outgoing tourists as well as locals using this facility.
